Applications are open for nominations to fill two positions on the Greenlife Industry Australia Board.
The GIA constitution requires that the second rotation of directors occurs at the second annual general meeting, which is scheduled for 23 November 2021.
The Board Nomination Committee comprising of GIA Director Joshua Byrne, and Foundation Member Sonja Cameron and Paul Boland have been appointed in accordance with clause 17.1. The Committee will have the role of:
Identifying the necessary and desirable director competencies for the skills-based Board.
Assessing the applications of candidates nominated to be re-elected and or elected to the office of director.
Choose from those nominees those persons who will, in its view, best ensure that the Board collectively has an appropriate balance of skills and experience.
Advise the secretary of the candidates which were endorsed by the committee to stand for election.
Interested parties, should review the Directors Information Kit and submit their nomination via the online form attaching all relevant documentation. All nominations must have endorsement from a full financial member of Greenlife Industry Australia.
Where more than two applicants are endorsed by the Committee, a ballot vote will be conducted. If there be only the required number of nominees to fill the vacancies, no ballot will be necessary, and the Chairman of the AGM shall declare those endorsed nominees duly elected.
Nominations for the two directorships close midnight AEDT, 8 October 2021.
