New Minor Use Permits - October 2023

One Minor Use Permit (New Applications) has been approved by the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) for the nursery industry within the last month. Minor Use Permit number PER92919 is now available as described below.
Through the ‘National Biosecurity and Sustainable Plant Production Program’ (NY20001), levy funds and additional contributions from the Australian Government were used to apply for the new Minor Use Permit (MUP).
PER92919 - Minecto Forte Insecticide (cyantraniliprole + diafenthiuron). NURSERY STOCK
(non-food) - seedlings, tubes, plugs, potted colour, trees, shrubs, foliage plants, palms, grasses, fruiting plants (non-bearing), cut flowers and ornamentals (field & protected) for the management of Silverleaf whitefly, Melon aphid, Green peach aphid, Helicoverpa spp., Cucumber moth, Potato moth, Cluster caterpillar, Two-spotted mite; suppression of Tomato thrips, Western flower thrips, and Plague thrips.
