Brite was founded 40 years ago to create an inclusive workplace and environment that supported people with a wide range of abilities and skills. But as research, technology and perceptions changed, so did the main purpose of Brite. There is now more acceptance and understanding of people living with disabilities than 40 years ago. Our goal is to harness that new perception to provide inclusive places
for people with disability to work and study.
Our Brite Pathways Course helps young people with a disability to transition from school into a job or training, preparing them for success in the next stage of their lives.
It’s a two-year, full time course that involves:
skill building (life skills and employment)
health and wellbeing.
We work closely with each young person (and families) to deal with barriers and develop a tailored action plan.
Our goal is to make sure that young people graduating from the Brite Pathways Course are ready to move into open employment or further education opportunities that fit their interests.
When you partner with Brite, you’ll get quality products and services at competitive prices. And, you’ll change lives in our community.
