New Directors join the NGIA Board
Yesterday, the NGIA Annual General Meeting was held in Sydney where new NGIA Directors were confirmed.
Peter Jong of Jong’s Nursery will represent South Australia following the departure of Geoffrey Fuller,and Hamish Mitchell of Speciality Trees in Victoria has been co-opted back to the NGIA Board.
Karen Brock, of Brocklands in Tasmania was re-elected as NGIA President and Ben Grange, of Grange Growing Solutions was elected as Vice-President.
All other directorships remain unchanged with Paul Lancaster of Suncoast Water Gardens in Queensland; David Howard of Bay Road Nursery in Victoria; and Ross Hooper of Zanthorrea Nursery in Western Australia continuing their terms.
NGIA would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to Geoffrey Fuller for his steady hand and commitment in his role as NGIA Director for South Australia. After retiring from his Executive Officer role with NGISA, Geoffrey did not hesitate in his continued support for South Australian Members and has executed his two terms as NGIA Director with distinction.
